This programme consists of Fire Safety Upgrade works to Notting Hill Genesis housing stock.

Working from existing fire compartmentation surveys and fire door inspection audits we have developed a cohesive plan of works to upgrade the fire safety to numerous single and multiple domestic dwellings.

We also carry out our own inspection and survey services on this contract in relation to fire compartmentalising and fire door compliance.

Horbury Property Services Ltd undertake the following works:

• Fire door repairs and remedial works
• Fire door-set installations
• Fire stopping, sealing and compartmentalisation works
• Pre-works surveying activities

Horbury Property Services Ltd work closely with the local housing officers to gain access to resident properties to complete works without causing issues or privacy breaches. Other predicted issues are working in confined spaces such as loft areas and basements which presented several health and safety challenges. However, these were very effectively overcome with advanced planning and scheduling of the works.

Local asbestos registers are utilised to ensure all trade staff were working safely and avoiding any existing asbestos containing material areas. All staff are asbestos awareness trained. All firestopping penetrations are recorded on our bespoke fire compartmentation software for issue to the client for use in their future fire risk assessments.
